Catherine Romania, J.D., LL.M.
Catherine Romania, J.D., LL.M., is a member of Witman Stadtmauer, P.A. in Florham Park, New Jersey where she concentrates her practice in estate planning, estate administration, business transactions and mediation. Ms. Romania is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. Accredited by the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM) as a Business and Commercial Mediator, she is also approved by the New Jersey Superior Court as a mediator for family, civil, probate and general equity matters. Ms. Romania is a member of the Business Law and Real Property Probate and Trust Law Sections of the New Jersey State and American Bar Associations, and is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey and the New York State Bar Association. She has been appointed to the District X Fee Arbitration Committee, New Jersey Supreme Court and is currently serving as Chair. She has been published in the New Jersey Law Journal, lectures for ICLE and other organizations and is frequently quoted in the Star Ledger’s “Biz Brain” column. Ms. Romania received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Bucknell University, her J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
