Total Credits: 4 including 4 Taxes - Technical
This course explains how the Texas sales and use tax and well servicing tax rules apply to the oilfield services industry from beginning to end. We start with seismic work to discover reservoirs. We then discuss the phases of drilling and completion. From there, we cover work done in producing fields and in workover. We end with plugging and abandoning. At every phase, we explain both the nature of the work done and how the Texas tax rules apply.
